Job Requirements
- former exposure to culinary tasks or a related cooking role
- thorough knowledge of cooking methods and principles governing food preparation
- familiarity with sanitation procedures and food safety guidelines
- food safety certification is required if not already certified

Job Duties
- prepare and cook meals following standardized recipes and production guidelines
- provide workstations equipped with necessary ingredients and tools
- arrange ingredients through cutting, trimming, measuring, mixing, and additional preparations
- follow safety protocols when using different kitchen utensils and equipment, such as knives, ovens, stoves, and mixers, to prevent mishaps
- utilize different culinary approaches such as baking, broiling, roasting, and steaming to cook and prepare food
- organize and ornament dishes based on defined expectations for their presentation aesthetics
- observe all the necessary food safety protocols and ensure proper food storage
- sanitize and disinfect kitchen areas, gear, and utensils to ensure a safe food preparation environment
- deliver exceptional service to customers while maintaining a positive attitude
- respect and follow all safety and sanitation procedures established by Aramark
- uphold the security of business assets
