Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Prior experience in food preparation or kitchen environment preferred
Ability to stand for long periods
Ability to work flexible shifts including evenings and weekends
Must be able to follow health and safety regulations
Strong communication skills
Ability to work well in a team
Willingness to learn and be coached
Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization in the workspace

Job Qualifications

Previous kitchen or food preparation experience preferred
Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Positive attitude and willingness to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
Basic knowledge of food safety practices
Ability to communicate effectively in English
Bilingual Spanish-English skills considered a plus

Job Duties

Prepare fresh ingredients according to recipes and company standards
Make signature sauces and desserts
Ensure all food items are prepared and stored safely
Maintain a clean and organized prep area
Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
Work collaboratively with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation
Uphold Chuy’s three core rules by prioritizing customer satisfaction, cleanliness, and a fun work environment
