Job Requirements
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- Ability to stand or walk for 6-8 hours during an 8-hour shift
- Ability to use tools and equipment such as knives, box cutters, and electric pallet jacks
- Willingness to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to follow directions and procedures
- Exposure to FDA approved cleaning chemicals
- Ability to work in wet and dry conditions
- May require use of ladders
- Capability to perform motions such as bending, twisting, squatting and reaching
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Job Duties
- Assist with production for all Prepared Foods venues
- Ensure all prepared foods are properly labeled, dated, initialed, covered, and rotated
- Ensure product meets Whole Foods Market guidelines for quality and preparation
- Document waste and spoilage using appropriate forms
- Use correct measuring devices and follow all recipes during production
- Help customers understand the difference between Whole Foods products and conventional store products
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of walk-ins and freezers
- Arrive to work station on time, appropriately groomed and dressed
- Provide excellent customer service and address customer needs promptly
- Maximize sales potential through proper prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising of product
- Follow health, sanitation, and safety procedures
- Maintain a clean and sanitary working and shopping environment
- Perform opening, mid, and closing duties as assigned
- Report safety hazards and violations immediately
