Job Duties
- Prepare and measure ingredients according to recipes and chef instructions
- wash, peel, and chop vegetables, fruits, and other ingredients
- portion and package ingredients for use during service
- assist in the preparation of sauces, marinades, and other basic components
- maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to health and safety standards
- store food items properly to avoid spoilage and cross-contamination
- assist with receiving and stocking inventory
- support the culinary team with various tasks as needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations
