The role of Prep Cook at Outback Steakhouse is a vital position within the kitchen team, responsible for preparing, portioning, and cooking food items to meet established quality and safety standards. Job Requirements

  • must be at least 18 years old
  • able to stand for extended periods
  • able to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays
  • able to follow safety and sanitation protocols
  • must be able to communicate effectively in English

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • prior experience in food preparation or kitchen environment is beneficial but not required
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • strong attention to detail
  • good teamwork and communication skills

Job Duties

  • follow established food safety guidelines, recipes, standards and procedures
