Job Requirements
- must be 18 years of age to operate kitchen equipment
- experience with kitchen equipment including knives, slicers, mixers, stoves, and ovens required
- flexibility to work various shifts
- ability to follow established sanitation protocols
- reliable and punctual
- physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks
- willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced kitchen environment
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous experience in a kitchen, culinary, or chef role preferred but not required
- knowledge of kitchen equipment operation including knives, slicers, mixers, stoves, and ovens
- strong communication skills
- ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
- attention to detail and commitment to food safety and sanitation
- flexibility to work a variety of shifts
Job Duties
- prepare ingredients and perform food prep tasks according to recipes and company specifications
- maintain cleanliness and organization of prep station and workspace
- follow proper sanitation protocols
- communicate and coordinate effectively with kitchen team members including assemblers, expos, and management
- participate in opening and closing kitchen duties
- operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- ensure food presentation meets the restaurant's standards
