Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
previous experience in a kitchen environment preferred
knowledge of food safety standards
ability to follow detailed instructions
capacity to work efficiently in a team
physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy items
availability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Qualifications

Previous experience as a prep cook or in a similar role preferred
basic understanding of cooking techniques and kitchen equipment
strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high food quality standards
ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
good physical condition and ability to perform manual tasks, including lifting and moving items
flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic

Job Duties

Prepare and measure ingredients according to recipes and chef instructions
wash, peel, and chop vegetables, fruits, and other ingredients
portion and package ingredients for use during service
assist in the preparation of sauces, marinades, and other basic components
maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to health and safety standards
store food items properly to avoid spoilage and cross-contamination
assist with receiving and stocking inventory
support the culinary team with various tasks as needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations
