As part of the Olive Garden family, Prep Cooks benefit from ongoing training opportunities that help build essential skills for current roles and future career growth. With management advancement opportunities available, more than half of Olive Garden’s managers are promoted from hourly positions, demonstrating the company’s commitment to nurturing talent from within.

Olive Garden focuses on supporting its team members beyond their immediate job duties. Benefits include weekly pay, anniversary bonuses, paid sick leave calculated at one hour for every 30 hours worked, paid family and medical leave after one year of service, and medical and dental insurance options. Additional perks such as free employee meals from a limited menu, discounts on cellphones, travel, and electronics, and a 401(k) retirement savings plan with company match after one year of service further enhance the employee experience. The workplace is designed to be inclusive and supportive, echoing the company motto of "We’re All Family Here." This makes Olive Garden not just a place to work, but a place to grow and build a meaningful career within the restaurant industry.
