We are seeking a passionate and skilled Prep Cook to join our culinary team at Linden Ponds. This role is perfect for individuals who have a love for food, enjoy teamwork, and possess culinary experience. As a Prep Cook, you will engage in à la minute cooking and create chef-inspired dishes that contribute to our Signature Dining Programs. You will work in state-of-the-art kitchens, using top-notch equipment alongside a dedicated team. Your culinary talents will directly influence the quality of our dining experience and resident satisfaction.
This position is offered on a part-time or full-time basis with compensation ranging from $18 to $23 per hour, reflective of experience and skills. The role involves assisting in the consistent preparation of all food items following proper safety and cooking techniques, maintaining a clean and sanitized kitchen work area, and assembling high-quality menu items. Candidates must be adaptable to working in various kitchen environments, including hot and cold conditions, and be physically capable of lifting or moving objects weighing up to 50 pounds. Some weekend and holiday work is required.
