The role of Prep Cook at noii Sushi is essential in supporting the smooth and efficient operations of the kitchen. This full-time or part-time position offers a competitive pay rate of $20 per hour plus tips, and reports directly to the Kitchen Manager and Executive Chef. The Prep Cook will be responsible for preparing ingredients, assisting with stock management, maintaining cleanliness, and supporting chefs during peak service hours.   • Basic understanding of kitchen operations

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Wash, peel, chop, and portion vegetables, fruits, and proteins according to kitchen standards
  • Prepare sauces, dressings, and other basic components as directed
  • Assist with stock rotation and ingredient inventory management
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of prep areas and storage
  • Follow food safety and sanitation procedures diligently
  • Support chefs and line cooks by ensuring timely prep of ingredients
  • Assist with receiving and storing deliveries as needed
  • Wash and season sushi rice
  • Clean various fish and seafood
  • Adhere to all kitchen safety and hygiene protocols
