The Line Cook position at Toscana Italian Kitchen and Wine Market is an exciting role that calls for culinary precision, dedication to quality, and excellent teamwork. As a line cook, you will be responsible for preparing food items that meet the restaurant’s high quality standards, focusing on detail in presentation, proper cooking temperatures, and adherence to established recipes. The position offers a competitive pay scale ranging from $17 to $20 per hour and includes an attractive sign-on bonus totaling $500, structured with $300 awarded after 45 days and an additional $200 after 90 days. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in a similar culinary role preferred
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods and handle kitchen equipment
  • Commitment to food safety and cleanliness standards

  • Ability to follow direction and work as part of a team

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience working as a line cook in a fast-paced restaurant environment preferred

Job Duties

  • Prepare food of consistent quality following brand recipe cards
  • Proper documentation on all food containers with adherence to rotations per standard operating procedures
  • Practice safety standards at all times
  • Report to work in full clean uniform on time and ready to serve
  • Cook orders adhering to guest requests and special dietary needs in a positive manner
  • Be proactive with ordering, pars, food preparations, and equipment upkeep to eliminate service obstacles
