The role available at Legends Global is for overseeing premium dining and hospitality areas to guarantee an exceptional guest experience. This position involves leading and supporting service teams across suites, clubs, and in-seat operations, ensuring quality, professionalism, and efficiency consistently meet high expectations. The individual in this role will collaborate closely with culinary and operations teams to ensure smooth event execution, prompt service, and a welcoming environment tailored to all guests. The role requires keen attention to detail, strong leadership skills, and a passion for delivering superior hospitality services.

This is a hands-on supervisory position where the incumbent will be responsible for managing daily operational aspects including staff scheduling, training, and counseling, as well as completing administrative duties like inputting event sheets and reports. Critical to success in this role is maintaining a friendly, positive attitude, excellent communication with guests, and deep knowledge of food and beverage offerings. The location for this position is onsite at Yankee Stadium, Bronx, NY, with an hourly rate ranging from $22 to $26, commensurate with experience. The candidate must be prepared for the physical demands associated with the role and demonstrate flexibility in working extended hours, nights, weekends, and holidays, especially during significant events held at the venue.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Some college preferred
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Two to three years supervisory experience in a fast-paced bar, high-end club, or restaurant
  • Minimum two years experience in food and beverage preparations, service standards, guest relations and etiquette
  • Ability to multitask in a fast paced, team orientated environment
  • Excellent communication skills in English
  • Ability to lift and transport items weighing 10 to 30 pounds, occasionally 50 pounds
  • Must meet health requirements for food handling and alcoholic beverage service
  • Availability to work extended hours, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Sufficient physical mobility to perform tasks involving reaching, bending, stooping, wiping, pushing, and pulling

Job Qualifications

  • All applicants must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must have 2 years experience and basic knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service standards, guest relations and etiquette
  • Ability to multitask in a fast paced, team orientated setting
  • Must be able to read, speak and write English language in order to communicate with guests
  • Ability to lift and transport items weighing 10-30 pounds, occasionally 50 pounds
  • Must meet state and city health requirements for food handling and alcoholic beverage service
  • Ability to work all events, including extended hours, nights, weekends, and holidays with open availability for all events scheduled
  • Must have sufficient mobility to perform assigned production tasks including constant reaching, bending, stooping, wiping, pushing, and pulling for extended periods of time
  • Must have two (2) to three (3) years supervisory experience working in a fast-paced bar, high-end club, or restaurant
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Some college preferred

Job Duties

  • Inputting daily event sheets and daily reports
  • Assist in staffing, scheduling, training, and counseling of event staff
  • Work closely with the customer service department to improve customer service in all assigned areas
  • Complete inventory at assigned locations and input in Yellow Dog inventory program
  • Maintain a friendly, positive attitude and a professional demeanor at all times
  • Interact with guests and staff to ensure guest satisfaction
  • Provide guests with personal service and attention to detail that will exceed expectations
