The role at hand is a supervisory position based within the VIP area stands, where the candidate will be responsible for managing and coordinating the activities of stand workers. This position holds significant operational responsibilities and plays a critical role in ensuring that the VIP area runs efficiently and maintains high standards of service. The individual will oversee all aspects of stand setup and closure, which includes managing inventory counts, preparing the station, cleaning, and organizing stock for upcoming events. An essential part of this role is maintaining cleanliness and ensuring stations are sufficiently stocked to meet service demand. Ordering replacement stock from runners is also an integral task. The candidate must efficiently handle required paperwork and ensure strict adherence to alcohol policies.

Moreover, this leadership position requires managing the food preparation staff to ensure compliance with company guidelines as well as health and safety regulations set by the relevant board of health. It is important for the candidate to be knowledgeable in all roles within the stand operations and be willing and able to fill any position as needed. The closing duties require collaboration with other staff to complete inventory counts, clean equipment, and organize stock appropriately. Additional responsibilities include operating the POS system to address voids and credit card issues, inputting daily event sheets and reports, and actively working with the customer service department to enhance service quality. Strong communication skills and a friendly, positive attitude are required to interact effectively with both guests and staff to ensure a high level of guest satisfaction. The ability to work as part of a team within venue services is critical, alongside flexibility to work varied schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays. The candidate must also be compliant with state and local requirements for food handlers and alcoholic beverage service certifications. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Two to four years of experience in hospitality management or similar fast-paced environment
  • Valid Pennsylvania RAMP certification
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must comply with state and local health regulations for food and beverage services
  • Physically able to perform tasks including standing, lifting, and walking for extended periods
  • Must maintain personal hygiene and professional appearance
  • Ability to manage inventory and complete paperwork accurately
  • Proficiency with POS systems
  • Must be punctual and dependable.

Job Qualifications

  • Two to four years experience in a fast-paced, high-end club, restaurant, or catering location
  • High school diploma, some college preferred

  • Knowledgeable of POS systems and inventory control
  • Pennsylvania RAMP certification.

Job Duties

  • Supervises and coordinates activities of stand workers in the VIP area
  • Oversees and participates in stand set-up and closing procedures including counting inventory, prep, and cleaning
  • Ensures work stations remain clean and sufficiently stocked

  • Completes required paperwork accurately and efficiently
