The Premium Suite Supervisor position located at the ONT Field operates within the Food and Beverage department. This part-time, non-exempt role reports directly to the Food and Beverage Manager and offers $29.25 per hour. Employees working at ONT Field are subject to a collective bargaining agreement with Unite Here Local 11, requiring union membership as a condition of employment. The Premium Suite Supervisor plays a critical role in assisting the Premium and Suites Manager by overseeing event day operations specifically within the premium and suites areas and bars at ONT Field. This hands-on supervisory job demands managing event preparations, ensuring top quality guest service, and coordinating closely with various teams including sales, kitchen, and warehouse to seamlessly execute all aspects of premium suite offerings. Responsibilities include setting up all suites properly before guests arrive, training and overseeing premium suite servers, maintaining equipment, ordering supplies, coordinating food and beverage production, and ensuring all requisitions are met according to company policy.

The role requires effective communication and collaboration skills for liaising between different teams, plus a continuous focus on delivering a memorable guest experience by maintaining professional, courteous service standards. The supervisor also addresses problems as they arise, performs end-of-month inventory for suites pantry, and ensures cleanliness, safety, and readiness of all service areas. Importantly, they must uphold responsible alcohol service policies and abide by all human resources policies and codes of conduct. Flexibility in scheduling is essential as the position involves working evenings, weekends, and holidays. Additional duties or changes to responsibilities may occur to adapt to evolving operational needs. Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Food and Beverage Management or related field desired
  • Minimum 1-2 years' supervisory level experience in Food and Beverage or equivalent training
  • Previous customer service and cash handling experience is a plus
  • Must be flexible with a sense of urgency
  • Working knowledge of food production techniques, purchasing, and sanitation procedures
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to define problems and implement solutions
  • Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Valid food handler’s card required within 30 days of hire
  • TIPS certification required
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all staff and vendors
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Ensures all suites in designated area are properly set before guests arrive
  • Oversee premium and suite servers during events
  • Train premium suite servers on department standards and procedures
  • Maintain existing equipment needed for service
  • Order all replacement items and equipment under direction of Premium and Suites Manager
  • Ensure all requisitions to Warehouse and Kitchen are received timely and in accordance with company policy
  • Coordinate with Kitchen on timing and production of functions
  • Communicate effectively between Sales, Kitchen, and Warehouse teams
  • Work closely with Sales team to maximize guest experience and engagement
  • Supervise and coordinate suite attendants, including training and providing feedback
  • Ensure positive and impactful guest experience by delivering professional and courteous guest service
  • Facilitate suite guests and attendants’ requests and orders
  • Analyze and resolve problems with associates, guests, and operations with assistance of Premium Suites Manager
  • Learn and understand all food and beverage menu items to complete financial transactions and upsell
  • Ensure all event day food and beverage orders arrive timely and address discrepancies
  • Maintain clean, organized, stocked, and safe area
  • Report low inventory and safety and maintenance issues immediately
  • Assist suite attendants with opening and closing duties
  • Perform end-of-month inventory for suites pantry
  • Oversee proper presentation, preparation, and service needs with food and beverage departments
  • Execute last minute changes and hold pre-function meetings
  • Recommend and implement new standards or systems with approval
  • Foster cooperative and harmonious working climate
  • Adhere to client confidentiality and company policies
  • Maintain regular and reliable attendance
  • Perform other duties as assigned
