The Premium and Suites Bartender role at Legends Global, specifically based at the ONT Field location, is instrumental in enhancing the guest experience through expert beverage service within designated premium locations. The role reports directly to the Food & Beverage Manager and is classified as part-time and non-exempt, with a competitive hourly wage of $21.40. This position requires union membership under a collective bargaining agreement with Unite Here Local 11 as a condition of employment. The bartender will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, maintaining a friendly, professional demeanor, and delivering high-quality customer service during event days. This role involves detailed knowledge of all bar drinks and wines, adherence to food and alcoholic beverage handling regulations, and maintaining cleanliness and organization of all work areas and equipment. The bartender must embody attention to detail and consistency, properly display merchandising and signage, and comply with company dress code standards, which include black pants and closed-toe, non-slip shoes.
Moreover, the role includes greeting guests warmly, efficiently managing high-volume orders using the POS system, following cash handling and tip reporting policies, setting up and breaking down workstations, stocking products, and enforcing responsible alcohol service practices. The job also requires familiarity with arena navigation to assist guests and maintain excellent customer relations throughout events. Candidates for this role must be at least 21 years old, possess a high school diploma or GED, and ideally have prior bartending, customer service, and cash handling experience. They must be flexible, proactive, and have strong communication and organizational skills, with the availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. The position necessitates obtaining and maintaining a valid food handler's card and TIPS certification within 30 days of hire, both of which the company supports through training and compensation for course time. Physical demands include moderate lifting, frequent walking, and the ability to work both indoors and outdoors as required by event needs. Legends Global encourages applicants from diverse backgrounds and complies with equal opportunity employment practices, ensuring accommodations for applicants with disabilities.
