The position of Premium and Suites Bartender at Legends Global heralds an opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment at the ONT Field location. This role is part-time, non-exempt, and compensated at $21.40 per hour. The position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement with Unite Here Local 11, requiring union membership as a condition of employment. This role is pivotal in delivering exceptional beverage service to guests attending events in premium suite settings, ensuring an elevated and memorable experience.
The Premium and Suites Bartender will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and professionalism. They must maintain a thorough understanding of all bar drinks and wines, ensuring compliance with health department regulations through valid permits like food handler and alcoholic beverage server certifications. This role demands attention to detail, maintaining cleanliness and organization of the work area and equipment, and adhering to company dress codes, including specific uniform requirements.
Bartenders will greet guests warmly, operate POS systems accurately under high volume conditions, and manage cash handling and tip reporting responsibly. They will also set up and stock their workstations, handle inventory carefully, and provide timely service, all while ensuring responsible alcohol service and adherence to food safety and sanitation standards. Knowledge of the arena layout and the ability to assist guests with navigation further complements their customer service duties.
Candidates for this role should be at least 21 years old with a high school diploma or GED. While previous bartending experience is advantageous, essential skills include cash handling, basic math, customer service, and the ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Candidates must be energetic, detail-oriented, self-disciplined, and possess excellent communication and organizational skills. This position requires physical stamina, including lifting up to 25 pounds, standing and walking for extended periods, and working in various environments, indoors and outdoors. Job Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- High school diploma or GED required
- Must obtain valid food handler's card within 30 days of hire
- TIPS certification required
- Previous bartending experience preferred
- Previous customer service and cash handling experience preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Basic math and cash handling skills
- Must be energetic, self-disciplined with strong initiative
- Must be detail oriented and have strong organizational skills
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Ability to maintain professional appearance

Job Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to customers
- Have knowledge of all bar drinks and wines
- Maintain valid food handler and alcoholic beverage server permits
- Assist in maintaining, organizing and cleaning work area and equipment
- Ensure merchandizing and signage are properly displayed
- Adhere to dress code including black pants and non-slip soled closed toe shoes
- Operate POS system accurately during high volume guest service
- Follow cash handling and tip reporting guidelines
- Expedite guest drink orders in a timely manner
- Stock product, set up garnish stations and cashier stations
- Complete all station set-up and breakdown responsibilities
- Practice proper product control and handling of inventory and equipment
- Execute responsible alcohol service
- Maintain proper sanitation and food safety
- Assist guests with arena navigation
- Provide excellent customer service
- Abide by company policies
- Perform other duties as assigned
