Serving over 50,000 students, UofSC encompasses a diverse range of campuses including the flagship research university in Columbia, comprehensive four-year universities in Aiken, Upstate, and Beaufort, and Palmetto College campuses that offer flexible learning opportunities through in-person, online, and blended formats. With a strong commitment to inclusive excellence and community development, the University plays a pivotal role in fostering healthier, better-educated communities across South Carolina and beyond.
Within this expansive and dynamic environment, the University of South Carolina is seeking a full-time Premium Services Manager for the Colonial Life Arena (CLA), a prominent venue that hosts a wide variety of sports, entertainment, and family events. Reporting directly to the Senior Assistant General Manager of the CLA, the Premium Services Manager holds a vital role ensuring the satisfaction and engagement of suite holders and group customers by promoting and managing the exclusive executive and premium suite experiences. The role emphasizes a proactive sales approach to generate increased arena revenue through group and premium ticket sales.
The Premium Services Manager's responsibilities include maintaining strong customer relationships, overseeing suite holder accounts, and coordinating sales efforts to maximize revenue opportunities. The successful candidate will be skilled in sales, customer service, and negotiation, and will possess proficiency in Microsoft Office and related applications, including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, presentation software, graphic design, and PowerPoint. This position demands excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, along with the ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines and provide attentive detail to contracts and customer specifications.
This role is essential to driving the financial success and customer experience standards of the Colonial Life Arena, with flexibility required for nights, weekends, and holiday work as events dictate. The University of South Carolina provides a comprehensive benefits package that includes health and life insurance, retirement programs, paid tuition, dependent scholarships, annual leave, sick leave, 13 paid holidays including an extended December holiday, paid parental leave, and professional development opportunities.
Applicants interested in this rewarding opportunity to enhance the premium services experience at a key South Carolina venue while contributing to the mission of a renowned educational institution are encouraged to apply by the closing date of July 13, 2026. UofSC is committed to equal employment opportunities and fosters a welcoming environment for all qualified candidates, regardless of race, gender, age, disability, or other protected characteristics.
