The arena serves as the home for notable teams such as the Hartford Wolf Pack and the UConn Athletics programs, including basketball and hockey. The Premium Services Concierge at PeoplesBank Arena plays a crucial role in elevating the experience for premium guests during these events. This position involves being the primary point of contact for guests seated in exclusive areas such as Bunker Suites, Loge Boxes, and Club Seats. The Concierge is dedicated to delivering a seamless, welcoming, and professional service to ensure that premium clients feel valued and attended to from the moment they arrive until the event concludes. This role requires a proactive and friendly individual who thrives in a dynamic environment and values attention to detail and superior customer service.

The Premium Services Concierge is responsible for welcoming and assisting guests warmly and professionally, educating them about the amenities available in premium seating areas, and handling any specific needs or accommodations promptly and courteously. Collaboration with the on-site Premium Services Manager and other guest services staff is essential to ensure excellent service delivery and efficient event operations. Responsibilities also include conducting pre-event walkthroughs to ensure that all premium seating areas are clean, fully stocked, and prepared for guests, as well as monitoring entertainment features such as TVs and sound systems within these exclusive zones.

Service excellence and guest satisfaction are the cornerstones of this role. Therefore, the Concierge must remain alert to potential service issues, responding quickly to resolve concerns and ensuring compliance with all safety and security policies. The ability to maintain composure and professionalism during busy or challenging situations helps create a positive event experience for everyone involved. Ultimately, the Premium Services Concierge supports the PeoplesBank Arena’s mission to provide outstanding hospitality and becomes a key ambassador for the venue’s premium services team.

Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • Welcome and assist premium guests in a warm, friendly, and professional manner throughout the event experience
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders throughout the premium seating locations
  • Educate guests on premium amenities, seating areas, and game day or event-specific information
  • Partner closely with the on-site Premium Services Manager to ensure all guest needs are met during events
  • Conduct pre-event walkthroughs to ensure all premium areas (Bunker Suites, Loge Boxes, and Club Seats) are clean, stocked, and event-ready
  • Proactively identify and report any service issues or guest concerns to appropriate personnel for quick resolution
  • Monitor and support entertainment elements in premium spaces, including TVs, video walls, and sound systems
  • Assist guests requiring mobility or accessibility accommodations with appropriate support
  • Uphold all safety, security, and venue policies to ensure a secure and comfortable environment
  • Support the setup and breakdown of premium areas before and after events
  • Collaborate with fellow Guest Services staff and departments to maintain a positive and efficient team environment
  • Complete additional assignments or special projects as needed
