The role of Premium Runner at ONT Field is a critical position within the Food & Beverage department reporting directly to the Food & Beverage Manager. This part-time, non-exempt position offers compensation at $26.25 per hour and entails hands-on involvement in the event-driven serving of food and beverages prepared for suites and catering areas at ONT Field. As a Premium Runner, the incumbent is responsible for ensuring that all food orders are fully fulfilled and accurately delivered from the kitchen without discrepancies or shortages, thereby enhancing the guest experience through timely and efficient service. The role also extends support to concession stands, suite attendants, and caterers to maintain cleanliness and seamless delivery of food items within suite and catering environments. In addition to service, Premium Runners undertake crucial opening and closing duties as assigned by management, ensuring operational readiness and orderliness of catering areas. Compliance with company and state guidelines, particularly when pouring drinks, is mandatory to maintain safety and quality standards. Flexibility is essential, as the role often requires working during nights, weekends, and holidays in alignment with event schedules. This position is unionized under Unite Here Local 11, mandating union membership as a condition of employment. A valid food handler's card is required, with training and certification costs covered by the employer. The position demands physical capability to lift and carry weights of 20-50 pounds intermittently and involves working both indoors and outdoors under varied event conditions. Job Requirements
- Must be willing to work as a suite attendant, caterer, bar back and/or bartender, if necessary and/or scheduled
- must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- daily lifting and carrying up to 20-50 lbs. up to 10 minutes at a time
- must have a valid food handler's card obtained within 30 days of hire date
- must be flexible, have a sense of urgency, be able to respond quickly and resourcefully to internal and external issues
- must be able to pass the background check
- ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends and holidays
- must maintain excellent written and verbal communication skills
- ability to present a professional appearance and demeanor at all times
- must possess a positive attitude and strong work ethics encouraging urgency and quality in a team environment
Job Qualifications
- Highschool diploma or GED
- previous customer service experience
- basic math and cash handling experience
- excellent written and verbal communication skills
- ability to take tasks that are not clearly defined and appropriately define problem, propose and implement solutions
- ability to work with minimal supervision
- ability to interact with all levels of customers and staff including management
- excellent organizational and planning skills

Job Duties
- Ensure all food orders are fulfilled fully and received from kitchen without discrepancy or shortages
- assist concession stands, suite attendants and caterers as needed with maintaining the cleanliness and delivery of food for all suite/catering locations
- responsible for the completion of opening and closing duties assigned by the concessions, suites and catering manager or supervisor
- adhere to company and state guidelines when pouring drinks
- must be available to work nights, weekends and holidays
- perform any other duties as assigned
