Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous cook or prep cook experience
  • ability to operate standard kitchen equipment including broiler, steamer, convection oven, mixer, meat slicer, and chef knife
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment
  • valid food handling certificate if required by state and federal regulations

Job Qualifications

  • Previous cook or prep cook experience
  • able to operate standard kitchen equipment including broiler, steamer, convection oven, mixer, meat slicer, and chef knife
  • ability to communicate with employees, co-workers, volunteers, management staff, and guests clearly and respectfully
  • ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment
  • possess valid food handling certificate if required by state and federal regulations
  • ServSafe preferred

Job Duties

  • Providing high-quality, fresh food products in a timely manner to support premium areas, suites, and catering needs
  • preparing hot and cold food items following company recipes, preparation methods, and portioning requirements
  • participating as a team player with responsibilities related to food preparation, organization, and efficient back-of-house operations
  • reporting maintenance or repair needs for kitchen equipment to management
  • maintaining sanitation, health, and safety standards following food-handling and HACCP guidelines
  • observing, labeling, and properly storing foods to ensure freshness and quality
  • accurately portioning, packaging, and organizing prepared ingredients for culinary and service teams
  • coordinating with Executive Chef, Sous Chef, or Kitchen Supervisor regarding production needs and menu planning
  • demonstrating excellent attendance and availability to work scheduled events
