The Pantry Coordinator position at Legends Global’s ONT Field location plays a vital role in supporting the Food & Beverage department by managing the food pantry operations for the venue’s suites and catering locations. This part-time role, paying $26.25 per hour, is essential in ensuring that food orders align with the needs of events, that pantry areas are maintained at high standards, and that inventory and communications around food services flow smoothly. The Pantry Coordinator works closely with kitchen staff and management to coordinate the receipt, tracking, and distribution of food supplies while adhering to budget guidelines and maintaining an organized and sanitary pantry environment.

Specific responsibilities include overseeing opening and closing duties, verifying food orders for accuracy, rotating products to maintain freshness, managing documentation, fostering effective communication among guests and staff, and ensuring compliance with company and state food and beverage service guidelines. The role requires flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays, reflecting the nature of events at the venue. It also demands a proactive and detail-oriented approach, strong customer service focus, the ability to work independently as well as part of a team, and a professional demeanor. Essential certifications, such as a valid food handler’s card, must be obtained shortly after hire with training provided and compensated for by the company. Overall, this role is pivotal in delivering exceptional guest experiences and upholding the high standards of Legends Global at ONT Field.

Job Requirements

  • Must be a minimum 21 years of age
  • Highschool diploma or GED
  • Previous bartending experience a plus
  • Previous customer service experience
  • Basic math and cash handling experience
  • Must be flexible, have a sense of urgency, be able to respond quickly and resourcefully to internal and external issues
  • Working knowledge of food production techniques, purchasing, and sanitation procedures
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to take tasks that are not clearly defined and appropriately define problem, propose and implement solutions
  • Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Ensure all food orders are fulfilled fully and received from kitchen without discrepancy or shortages
  • Responsible for the completion of opening and closing duties assigned by the Concessions, Suites and Catering Manager or Supervisor
  • Maintain organization by rotating shelf-stable product and/or breaking down packaging for the cleanliness of pantry area, and, checking for expirations etc. alongside staff
  • Maintain Food Pantry database, paperwork, and files
  • Maintain open communication with guests, servers, and staff on all food orders
  • Place food orders for pantry in concordance w/ budget and adhere to the budget for kitchen along with supervisors and managers
  • Treat all guests and staff with respect and dignity
  • Adhere to company and state guidelines when pouring drinks
  • Must be available to work nights, weekends and holidays
  • Any other duties as assigned
