The Premium Operations Manager role at Aramark involves management responsibility for developing and implementing dining solutions tailored to customer needs and preferences. Specifically, this role oversees dining operations where customers order prepared foods from a menu, ensuring the delivery of a high-quality dining experience. Reporting to the Food Service Director and leading the front-of-house operations in facilities such as cafeterias or residential dining, the manager plays a critical role in planning, directing, and coordinating food service activities. A strong focus on leadership, client relationships, financial performance, productivity, compliance, and safety is essential to succeed in this position.

The Operations Manager uses Aramark’s coaching model to engage and develop team members, fostering a motivated and high-performing workforce. The role demands daily team briefings, recognition of employee contributions, and constant performance management to meet both client expectations and operational objectives. Additionally, sustaining compliance with safety, health, wage and hour regulations, and sanitation standards are critical to maintaining a safe and healthy environment for clients, customers, and employees.

Financial acumen is equally important, as the manager ensures the preparation and maintenance of Profit & Loss statements, achieves financial targets, and actively works to improve margins through proper cost control and efficient operations. They educate teams about key performance metrics, data, ordering, and inventory trends to drive continuous improvement. Productivity goals include adhering to Operational Excellence fundamentals with regard to food and labor initiatives and ensuring all team members are trained and capable of implementing these standards.

Physical requirements include the ability to occasionally lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds and the capacity to stand for extended periods, reflecting the hands-on nature of the role. Strong interpersonal skills, excellent customer service, and the ability to build and maintain effective client and customer relationships are critical for success.
