This full-time position offers an hourly wage of $26.00 to $27.00 and requires availability primarily from Friday through Monday, including weekend and overnight shifts. Officers must demonstrate exceptional flexibility by being able to accept shifts with short notice and respond rapidly to scheduling requests. Critical attributes for success include self-discipline, punctuality, and a strong work ethic. Applicants should be well-groomed, articulate, dependable team players with a clean driving record, capable of successfully passing a thorough background check and drug screening.

While Flex Officers are not law enforcement officers and do not hold arrest or apprehension authority, they are crucial in maintaining a secure environment through vigilance, professionalism, and clear communication. The role involves performing duties both indoors and outdoors, requiring adaptability and resilience. Officers are responsible for detecting and reporting crimes, emergencies, and unusual events, enforcing company policies, and ensuring client satisfaction by professionally engaging with the public.

Job Requirements

ability to follow written rules, detailed orders, instructions, and training material
excellent customer service skills in phone and face to face conversation, with excellent written and spoken command of the English language
flexibility in schedule especially mandatory availability from Friday through Monday including weekends and overnights
ability to take shifts on short notice and respond to dispatcher calls within 2 hours
ability to report for duty within 4 hours when scheduled
self-discipline, good work ethic, and punctuality
ability to pass extensive background check and drug test
clean driving record

Job Qualifications

legally authorized to work in the U.S.
18 years of age or older
high school diploma or equivalent
ability to speak, read, write, and understand English fluently
ability to follow written rules, detailed orders, instructions, and training materials
excellent customer service skills in phone and face to face conversation, with excellent written and spoken command of the English language
familiarity with TrackTik is preferred

Job Duties

detect, deter, and report crime, fire, unusual events, and emergencies
follow all company personnel and safety policies and perform all assigned duties in a safe manner
arrive at work at the designated time in proper uniform with any necessary equipment
work flexible hours to include weekends and holidays and take shifts on short notice
work approximately 32-48 hours per week, based on business needs
provide security for new sites until permanent security officers can be hired
fill in for officers who are on vacation/sick/no call-no show
carry out general and special orders for assigned post
communicate via radio, telephone and in-person, according to orders
responsible for cleanliness of uniform and assigned equipment
meet, greet, and interact professionally with clients and the general public
maintain poise and self-control under stress
construct and write clear, concise, accurate, and detailed reports in English
read, speak, understand, and apply printed rules, detailed orders, instructions, and training materials in English
comfortably turn away trespassers, loiterers, and transients (who might be under the influence of drugs or alcohol) on the client’s property from a safe distance away
perform other assigned duties as needed
