The role of Sous Chef at Truist Park is an exciting leadership position within Delaware North Sportservice's culinary team. This role reports directly to the Executive Chef and centers on overseeing high-volume kitchen operations, maintaining exceptional food quality, and leading a talented team of culinary professionals. The Sous Chef's responsibilities include supervising food production, ensuring adherence to recipe standards, managing kitchen safety and sanitation, controlling food and labor costs, and contributing to creative menu development.
This position demands a chef who is not only skilled in culinary arts but also possesses strong leadership qualities, creativity, and a passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences within a fast-paced, dynamic environment. The role offers an anticipated base salary range between $56,900 and $76,800 per year, with additional incentives such as an annual bonus plan based on individual and company performance, or an uncapped sales incentive plan based on role. The position expects flexibility in working schedules, including days, evenings, weekends, holidays, and events, with shifts ranging from 8 to 12 hours.

Job Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of culinary experience with previous management responsibilities in a large production kitchen or high-volume food and beverage operation
- Previous culinary experience in fine dining or high-end restaurant desirable
- Exceptional skills in high-volume cooking food presentation and precise recipe adherence with the ability to lead coach and motivate a diverse team
- Knowledge of best practices for monitoring food and labor cost menu development costing ordering inventory and food safety and sanitation
- Proficient computer skills including Word and Excel
- Ability to obtain ServSafe Food Safety Handler and Training for Intervention Procedures certifications
- Capacity to work a flexible schedule to accommodate business levels
