Delaware North’s dedication to fostering an inclusive and supportive work environment has made it a sought-after employer for individuals eager to advance their careers in hospitality and management.

This specific opportunity is with Delaware North Sportservice, which manages concessions, clubs, and suites for the NHL’s Buffalo Sabres at the KeyBank Center in Buffalo, New York. The KeyBank Center, home to the Sabres since the team’s founding in 1970, is a major sports and entertainment venue that seats over 19,000 guests. Delaware North oversees critical food and beverage operations within the arena, including membership-exclusive fine dining experiences, premium club services, and large-scale catering functions. This role offers an engaging and energetic environment primed for hospitality professionals passionate about sports and entertainment.

The position being offered is that of Premium Club and Catering Manager, a leadership role critical to the successful operation of the Lexus Club and all associated catering functions at the KeyBank Center. This is a full-time role with an anticipated salary of $62,354 annually, complemented by a performance-based bonus plan and an uncapped sales incentive scheme, rewarding individual and company achievements. The selected candidate will be responsible for overseeing team members, managing operations on event days, ensuring outstanding guest relations, and maintaining high standards of safety and sanitation.

As Premium Club and Catering Manager, you will play a pivotal role in fostering a team-oriented culture where excellence in service and hospitality is the priority. You will hire, train, and supervise food and beverage staff dedicated to delivering exceptional catering services to high-profile clients and sports fans alike. Scheduling and coordinating the catering and club operations on event days will be among your top responsibilities, ensuring seamless execution from start to finish. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with front and back-of-house management teams to optimize operational effectiveness and enrich the overall guest experience.

This role demands strong financial and operational acumen, including budget management, cost control, inventory oversight, and performance reporting. You will analyze monthly projections and implement strategies that promote efficiency and fiscal responsibility within the department. A critical aspect of this position is the ability to independently analyze data and make informed decisions that enhance service quality and operational performance.

Delaware North offers a comprehensive benefits package that supports the well-being and career growth of its employees. Health, dental, and vision insurance options, a 401(k) plan with company match, paid vacation, holidays, parental leave, tuition reimbursement, and exclusive discounts are all part of the company’s commitment to its workforce. Working at Delaware North means joining a global legacy where every team member has the opportunity to contribute to a culture of hospitality excellence while enjoying a fulfilling career.
