The Premium Buffet Cook position is a pivotal role within OVG’s dynamic culinary team, aimed at enhancing the hospitality experience at OVG-operated venues. This role requires an experienced, personable, and high-energy individual who thrives in fast-paced environments. As the face of the buffet, the Premium Buffet Cook is responsible for executing live-cooking stations, including a high-volume brunch omelet station and protein carving station, while interacting directly with guests. The position demands not only culinary proficiency but also exceptional customer service skills to ensure every dish aligns with guest expectations and OVG’s premium standards.
This position offers an hourly wage of $18.00, reflecting the company’s commitment to recognizing the value and expertise required. The Premium Buffet Cook will play a key role in maintaining a pristine workspace, adhering to strict sanitation and food safety standards, and providing engaging hospitality that enhances the overall guest experience.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum of 1 year experience in a similar culinary role
- ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment
- excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- food safety certification preferred
- availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Proven experience running live-action cooking stations including omelet and protein carving stations
- strong knife skills and proficiency with commercial griddles and carving tools
- ability to work quickly and maintain professionalism during peak service times
- excellent communication skills and a presentation-conscious attitude
- food safety certification such as ServSafe preferred
Job Duties
- Operate a high-volume brunch omelet station with efficiency and accuracy
- professionally carve premium proteins such as prime rib and pork roast
- prepare fresh waffles, pancakes, and other breakfast/brunch items to order
- provide friendly and professional guest interaction representing the culinary team
- set up, maintain, and break down cooking stations ensuring cleanliness and adherence to food safety standards
