The role of Premium Bartender Non-Tipped at Sodexo’s British Airways Lounge in San Francisco International Airport (SFO) offers a unique opportunity for a passionate and creative beverage professional to thrive in a dynamic, customer-focused environment. This full-time position, paying $20.10 per hour, requires open availability to work any shift as needed to support the smooth operation of the lounge. As a Premium Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting classic and innovative cocktails, selecting appropriate glassware, garnishing drinks, and educating patrons about the drink menu to enhance their overall experience. Your role is vital in maintaining a high standard of beverage service, working closely with waitstaff and management to deliver seamless hospitality.
In this position, you will also ensure the bar area is neat, sanitary, and well-stocked. This includes tasks such as stocking ice, beverages including beer, wine, and liquor, preparing specialty mixers, slicing bar fruit, and cleaning glassware and utensils. Compliance with all food and beverage regulations is crucial, especially with regard to verifying customer age to adhere to legal alcohol service requirements. Depending on the location and client needs, there may be opportunities to train and supervise other employees, contributing to the development of a skilled and efficient team.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience
- 2 to 3 years of related experience preferably in high-end establishments or hospitality management
- Holds appropriate license, certification, or permit to bartend and/or serve food in the work location
- Availability to work any shift as required
- Ability to comply with food and beverage regulations
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Physical ability to maintain a clean and stocked bar area
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience
- 2 to 3 years of bartending or related hospitality experience, preferably in high-end establishments
- Appropriate bartending or food service license, certification, or permit for the city and state of work
- Mixology certifications or formal training desirable
Job Duties
- Create classic and innovative cocktails, selecting appropriate glassware and garnishing drinks
- Educate customers about the drink menu
- Take orders and serve drinks directly or through waitstaff
- Assess customers’ needs and preferences to make recommendations
- Maintain the bar area, ensuring it is neat, sanitary, and well-stocked
- Stock ice, beer, wine, liquor, and prepare specialty mixers
- Clean glassware, utensils, and bar necessities
- Comply with all food and beverage regulations including age verification
- Train and supervise employees as directed by onsite management
- Attend work and show up for scheduled shifts on time
- Perform other duties as assigned based on client needs
