The Practicum Education Coordinator (Educational Program Administrator) position is a full-time, end-dated appointment within the Practicum Education Department. Reporting to the Director of Practicum Education, this role is essential in supporting the educational and professional development of both MSW (Master of Social Work) and BSW (Bachelor of Social Work) students. The coordinator is charged with advancing the school’s mission by fostering a learning environment that promotes diversity, equity, and inclusion. This role involves close collaboration with practicum education staff, faculty, and community agencies to build and maintain effective partnerships that enhance student practicum experiences.

The ideal candidate brings a deep commitment to practicum education and social work professional development, coupled with strong supervisory experience and a history of engaging with diverse populations. Responsibilities include placing students in practicum sites, maintaining compliance with clinical placement guidelines, advising students, supporting practicum instructors, and representing the school within the community. The position offers a salary range of $70,000 to $75,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience, and includes comprehensive benefits through UConn Health.
