The current opportunity is for a Practice Receptionist at the Cumberland practice in Western Sydney. This permanent, full-time role is a key position within the organization, serving as the initial point of contact for patients visiting the facility. Working Monday to Friday, the Practice Receptionist will play a vital role in shaping patient experiences by providing exceptional customer service and support. Responsibilities include welcoming patients both in person and over the phone, managing appointments and booking systems, maintaining accurate patient records, processing billing and payments, coordinating with referring doctors and clinical teams, and ensuring smooth patient flow throughout each visit.

Job Requirements
- previous experience in a patient-facing role within healthcare or medical reception will be highly regarded but is not essential
- commitment to maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information with discretion
- ability to prioritise competing tasks, multitask effectively and remain calm in a busy, fast-paced environment
- proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to quickly learn new systems
- outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills
- availability to work full time, Monday to Friday

Job Duties
- welcoming patients and providing exceptional customer service both in person and over the phone
