Operating as a collective of local banks, each with its own brand and management team, Zions Bancorporation emphasizes the importance of community connections and personalized customer relationships. The company has earned a reputation for excellence, gaining consistent recognition from American Banker magazine for having influential leadership and receiving frequent customer acclaim as the best bank in local markets. Zions Bancorporation prioritizes the wellbeing and career growth of its employees, offering a work environment that values recognition, rewarding contributions, and providing opportunities that foster professional development. The organization's core philosophy hinges on banking as a localized business, understanding that success depends on robust ties to the communities served and outstanding customer service.

The Practice Management Consultant role at Zions Bancorporation is a crucial position designed to support and elevate the performance of financial advisors, planners, portfolio managers, and client support teams within the Wealth Management division. This position is available at the Salt Lake City, Utah, or Houston, Texas locations, providing a strategic partnership to key leadership roles such as Market Leaders and Directors of Financial Planning and Investment Management. The consultant’s responsibilities include developing and overseeing onboarding and training programs, curating client-facing materials, managing product initiatives related to new and existing systems, and fostering a culture of continuous learning and operational excellence.

This role demands a combination of strategic insight and hands-on execution. It involves delivering workshops and training sessions on essential topics such as time management, client experience enhancement, go-to-market strategies, branding based on client personas, and platform usage. The consultant will act as a subject matter expert for technology platforms, promoting adoption and engagement to maximize the team’s efficiency. Part of the role is also to design career development paths, identify growth opportunities for all job families within Wealth Management, and drive licensed banker program success through training, onboarding, compliance coordination, and performance monitoring.

The Practice Management Consultant is a thought leader who champions innovation and collaboration, maintaining a client-centric approach that integrates current industry trends, regulatory requirements, and firm standards. By working closely with cross-functional teams such as operations, compliance, and service, the consultant helps streamline workflows, implement initiatives effectively, and ensure that client experiences are consistently excellent. With a focus on utilizing modern tools including CRM platforms like Salesforce, Seismic for content management, and leveraging AI to boost efficiency and decision-making, this position offers a dynamic and impactful career opportunity.

Zions Bancorporation's commitment to its employees includes comprehensive benefits starting from day one, competitive compensation tied to experience, 12 bank holidays, profit sharing, and company-matched 401(k) contributions. Employees also have access to mental health support, tuition reimbursement, and a range of insurance options, underlining the company’s status as an employer of choice in its communities.
