Job Description

Vituity is a leading healthcare organization dedicated to transforming the healthcare landscape through a collaborative and patient-centered approach. Founded with a culture that prioritizes team accomplishments over individual achievements, Vituity fosters an environment where passion thrives and success is achieved through shared purpose. Operating across 475 sites nationwide and serving over 9 million patients annually, Vituity offers exceptional opportunities for professional growth and development in a supportive and innovative environment. With a commitment to improving lives both locally and regionally, Vituity empowers its team members to make a positive impact every day. The company places great emphasis on recognition and appreciation, ensuring that the contributions of all employees are valued and celebrated.

The Practice Administrator role at Vituity, located in Oceanside, California, offers an exciting career opportunity within the vibrant setting of Tri-City Medical Center, a 386-bed hospital with a 26-bed open ICU, designated as a STEMI Receiving Center and Stroke Center. This role is essential to the operational success of the site, providing direct business and administrative support to medical directors, physician partners, advanced providers, and other staff. As the operational administrator, the Practice Administrator acts as a key interface between Vituity and hospital leadership, nursing staff, and community stakeholders. Responsibilities are diverse and include managing financial processes like contract stipends and payroll, overseeing site operations, facilitating compliance with credentialing and regulatory requirements, and supporting provider teams in both administrative and legal matters.

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of $24.28 to $30.36 per hour, exclusive of fringe benefits and potential bonuses, with eligibility for an annual corporate Success Sharing bonus based on company performance. Vituity values pay equity and considers factors like skills, education, experience, and internal team equity when determining final compensation. The Practice Administrator role demands strong organizational skills, the ability to work under pressure, and a consultative mindset. It is crucial for the candidate to have proficiency in office software tools, knowledge of healthcare industry regulations, and the capacity to maintain positive relationships across multiple departments and leadership levels. This position also supports recruitment, orientation, compliance training, and quality improvement initiatives within the site.

Located in the picturesque coastal city of Oceanside, this opportunity combines professional fulfillment with an exceptional quality of life. Oceanside is renowned for its beautiful oceanfront, iconic pier, rich cultural heritage including the historic Mission San Luis Rey, and vibrant arts and dining scenes. The city’s ideal climate offers year-round mild temperatures and sunshine, perfect for outdoor activities like surfing and paddleboarding. Conveniently situated between San Diego and Los Angeles, Oceanside provides easy access to major metropolitan amenities while preserving its relaxed, small-town charm.

At Vituity, the culture of brilliance ensures that every team member plays a vital role in transforming healthcare to improve lives. This role offers the chance to grow professionally in a supportive, purpose-driven culture with comprehensive benefits designed to support employee well-being today and into the future. If you are committed to making a meaningful difference in healthcare from a clinical or corporate perspective, Vituity provides the perfect environment to thrive and succeed.
