Job Description

Beaverton Motorcycles, a proud member of Lanphere Enterprises, Inc., stands as one of the premier retailers of motorcycles, automobiles, and related services and accessories in the Pacific Northwest. With a legacy spanning over 60 years, Beaverton Motorcycles has grown into a vibrant and thriving dealership that prides itself on passion for powersports and contribution to the local community. As part of a diversified group that includes Beaverton Honda, Beaverton INFINITI, Beaverton Kia, Canyon Road Auto Body, and Beaverton Auto Spa, the company fosters a culture of excellence and customer satisfaction, guided by dedication to quality service and teamwork.

At Beaverton Motorcycles, we deliver an exhilarating workplace for motorcycle enthusiasts and professionals alike. Our unique environment - often described as an exciting 'toy store' - provides an opportunity for dedicated individuals to work amidst some of the most impressive motorcycles, ATVs, and powersports gear available on the market today. We value fun, fast-paced energy, and a collaborative team spirit that drives our collective success and personal career growth.

The Lot Techs, Drivers, and Lot Attendants at Beaverton Motorcycles play essential roles in maintaining the showroom’s dynamic inventory and overall customer experience. This position is ideal for candidates who thrive in energetic environments and have a passion for motorcycles and powersports. Employees will be responsible for moving motorcycles and related equipment within the dealership, following strict display standards to ensure an exceptional visual appeal. The job requires multitasking amidst a lively setting that may include music, running vehicles, and customer inquiries, emphasizing the need for focus and adaptability.

In addition to repositioning inventory, the role includes maintaining inventory appearance, replenishing motorcycle fluids, assisting with inventory identification through key and stock tags, and ensuring overall lot cleanliness, including driveways, sidewalks, and the warehouse. Employees will occasionally receive forklift training as part of their duties. This role demands a high level of responsibility and enthusiasm for powersports, and previous experience in a similar position is advantageous but not mandatory.

Beaverton Motorcycles offers a comprehensive benefits package designed to support and reward our team members. From the very first day, employees begin accruing paid time off, enjoy paid holidays including special recognition such as a birthday off, and have access to industry-leading medical, dental, vision, and pharmacy benefits with over 80 percent of employee-only premiums covered by the employer. Additional coverage extends to income replacement insurance, critical illness, accident, life insurance, and more, ensuring peace of mind on and off the job. We also provide top-tier 401(k) plans with employer matching, flexible spending or health savings accounts, employee purchase plans for vehicles and gear, and employee assistance programs. Loyalty is rewarded through Years of Service awards, and even pet insurance discounts are available. Our workplace culture is one that honors dedication, inclusivity, and a genuine passion for motorcycles.

Candidates must have or be able to obtain a motorcycle endorsement within one month of hire. Safe operation of a pickup truck with a trailer is essential, and skills may be evaluated through a driving test. Employees must also demonstrate a reliable mode of transportation, the ability to work flexible shifts including days, evenings, and mandatory weekends (closed Sunday), and endurance to be on their feet throughout an eight-hour shift. Passing a background check and drug screening are non-negotiable requirements.

Joining Beaverton Motorcycles means becoming part of a legacy brand with a community atmosphere and the opportunities to accelerate your career in a fast-paced, rewarding environment. If you are passionate about motorcycles and looking for a role that combines great pay, excellent benefits, and an engaging workplace, Beaverton Motorcycles is the place for you.
