The position calls for an individual who is goal-oriented, capable of taking initiative independently, understanding and responding to client needs, and able to manage and meet schedules effectively. In Technology and Innovation, the professional will scout for emerging disruptive technologies, contribute to the Office of Applied Technology, provide vision and guidance within their practice area, mentor staff, and ensure excellence in technical and management practices. Business Development duties include collaborating in strategic growth planning, driving client relationship development, facilitating internal and external innovation deployment, aiding proposal strategies, making sales presentations, and promoting branding as thought leaders within the industry. Operational responsibilities involve providing technical project input, spearheading talent acquisition and training needs analysis, maintaining design standards, supporting quality assurance, researching regulatory updates, promoting diversity initiatives, and ensuring workplace safety.

Candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree in their area of practice, a Professional Engineering License, and a minimum of 15 years of experience specifically in the Power Industry. Expert knowledge of Power Distribution, Transmission, and Substation is essential. Wade Trim offers an excellent salary and benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short and long-term disability coverage, education reimbursement, 401(k), performance bonuses, and an employee stock program. The company also supports numerous employee resource groups and programs such as the Young Professionals Group, Women at Wade Trim, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion initiatives, Professional and Leadership Development, Rotation and Mentor programs, Sustainability, and Wellness programs.

Wade Trim values innovation and encourages all staff members to share ideas and suggestions for technology adoption to enhance client value and positively impact communities. The company stands out not only for its technical expertise but also for fostering an open-minded, supportive environment where employees can thrive, grow, and enjoy a rewarding career contributing to meaningful infrastructure projects across the Power Industry sector.
