Job Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • 3 years of progressively responsible related experience in a similar venue
  • One year of supervisory experience
  • Ability to achieve Responsible Alcohol and ServSafe certifications within 90 days
  • Ability to use standard office equipment and knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Experience with point-of-sale systems preferred
  • Ability to maintain discretion in handling confidential information
  • Ability to interact professionally with guests and team members
  • Ability to work irregular hours and extended shifts including late nights, early mornings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to talk, hear, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, stand, sit, and move freely throughout the property
  • Ability to use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls, reach with hands and arms
  • Ability to operate a personal computer
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects up to 10 pounds regularly and up to 60 pounds occasionally with assistance
  • Must wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Specific vision abilities including close, distance, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus

Job Qualifications

  • A high school diploma or equivalent and 3 years of progressively responsible, related experience in a venue of a similar size are required
  • One year of supervisory experience is required
  • Ability to successfully achieve Responsible Alcohol and ServSafe certifications within 90 days
  • Office skills including the ability to use standard office equipment and knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Experience with point-of-sale (POS) systems preferred
  • Ability to maintain discretion in handling confidential information
  • Ability to interact with guests and team members professionally including the ability to speak in front of small groups of team members
  • Ability to work irregular hours and extended shifts including late nights, early mornings, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Carry out managerial responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws including interviewing, hiring, and training team members

  • Ensure timely, positive resolution to guest inquiries, issues, and concerns taking proper corrective action as necessary and referring serious or complex issues to management
  • Manage team member scheduling and venue inventories to meet business demands and attain budgeted goals through effective cost controls
  • Maintain a safe, sanitary, and organized work environment
  • Maintain complete knowledge of venue service standards for all positions, menu items, beverage selections, specials, promotions, events, and policies
  • Work at other venues as assigned based on business needs
  • Ensure full compliance with departmental Internal Controls, policies, procedures, and regulations
  • Perform other duties as assigned
