The Sports Bar Server role at Potawatomi Casino Hotel involves contributing directly to this exciting environment by delivering excellent service in the casino's sportsbook bar. Starting at $7.25 per hour plus tips, this position is ideal for individuals who thrive in fast-paced, team-oriented settings and have a passion for hospitality and customer satisfaction. Servers are responsible for welcoming guests warmly, accurately taking and delivering food and beverage orders, and ensuring that every guest’s needs are met promptly and courteously. Candidates must be flexible to work various shifts, including irregular hours, extended shifts, weekends, and holidays, to support the casino’s operating hours and workload demands.
This role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide a winning experience from the moment guests place their first bet through to the final buzzer of their visit. Servers use point-of-sale systems to manage orders and transactions accurately while monitoring responsible alcohol service to ensure guest safety and regulatory compliance. Additionally, maintaining a clean, well-stocked, and safe working environment is essential. The successful candidate will have a thorough knowledge of the venue and be willing to work in other areas of the casino as business needs dictate. Job Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent and 6 months of related experience
- Responsible Alcohol and ServSafe certifications
- Experience with point-of-sale (POS) systems

Job Duties
- Take and serve food and beverage orders accurately
- Assess, anticipate, and attend to guest needs or concerns
- Use point-of-sale (POS) system to accurately process payments and dispense correct change
- Monitor responsible alcohol service to guests
- Maintain a clean, well-stocked, and safe working environment
- Maintain complete knowledge of the venue and the casino
- Work in other venues as assigned, based on business needs
