The Porter role at CLS Living is essential to maintaining the clean, safe, and welcoming atmosphere that residents, visitors, and team members expect. This position involves a variety of custodial and maintenance duties that directly impact the overall satisfaction and positive experience within the community. The successful candidate will be responsible for keeping common areas spotless, performing minor repairs, assisting with event setup, and collaborating closely with the maintenance team. Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- bilingual in Spanish and English
- previous experience in custodial, maintenance, or related roles preferred
- physical capability to lift, carry, and move heavy objects or equipment
- availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed
- understanding of rotating weekend schedule for trash pickup and trash chute clearing
- ability to maintain regular communication with lead maintenance technician and Chief Building Engineer

Job Duties
- maintain the cleanliness of common areas, hallways, and entryways through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting
- power wash sidewalks, courtyard areas, and parking lots
- empty trash receptacles and ensure proper waste disposal following company policies and local regulations
- clean and sanitize public spaces, including restrooms, fitness centers, community rooms, and other amenities
- assist with setup and cleanup for events, meetings, and resident activities
- monitor and report maintenance issues such as leaks, broken fixtures, or damages to appropriate personnel
- keep outdoor areas tidy by picking up litter and maintaining landscaping appearance
