Job Description
Caesars Entertainment is a globally recognized leader in the gaming and hospitality industry, known for providing dynamic and immersive entertainment experiences to guests worldwide. With a rich history rooted in innovation and excellence, Caesars operates iconic properties and resorts that are destinations in themselves, offering a blend of luxury, hospitality, gaming, and entertainment. The company’s commitment to its Mission, Vision, and Values reflects a purposeful culture aimed at creating possibilities and places where guests and employees can thrive and enjoy memorable experiences. Their corporate social responsibility framework, People Planet Play, further exemplifies Caesars’ dedication to economic development, sustainability, the well-being of team members, and positive community impact.
The role available is for a Lead Person position within the Environmental Services team at Caesars. This position plays a key leadership role in overseeing and guiding the daily cleaning and maintenance activities within the casino environment, ensuring that the property maintains a pristine and inviting atmosphere for guests and staff. The Lead Person provides work direction to department team members including organizing, prioritizing, and assigning tasks to porters to ensure efficient and effective completion of daily cleaning duties. This includes not only general cleaning but also specialized tasks such as carpet care, floor maintenance, hazardous material clean-up, and infection control practices.
A significant part of the role involves training and mentoring porters, offering support and guidance to enhance team performance and uphold Caesars’ high standards of service and cleanliness. While this position does not oversee formal supervisory responsibilities such as scheduling or disciplinary actions, the Lead Person acts as an essential on-floor leader who steps up to resolve issues and inquiries related to Environmental Services when the Building and Grounds Supervisor is absent. Strong attention to safety protocols, proper use of cleaning chemicals, and adherence to infection control procedures are critical in this role to protect team members and guests alike.
This position embraces Caesars’ values of blazing the trail, teamwork, and being all-in on service, supported by a corporate culture that prioritizes family-style service and genuine connections among coworkers and guests. This role offers an opportunity for those experienced in casino cleaning and floor care procedures to step into a leadership role that influences team success and guest satisfaction while working within one of the top entertainment and hospitality companies globally. Employment at Caesars also involves compliance with regulatory requirements, such as obtaining and maintaining a valid gaming license and undergoing background checks as part of the onboarding process.
