Job Description

Kairoi Residential is a distinguished leader in the multifamily real estate industry, known for creating exceptional living experiences across high-performing communities. With a focus on delivering long-term value to investors, associates, and residents alike, Kairoi is committed to cultivating vibrant, welcoming, and well-maintained living environments. The organization's name, pronounced Ki-roy, symbolizes moments in time where opportunities are seized, highlighting the company's dedication to empowering its team members to grow and succeed. Kairoi's mission revolves around fostering opportunities through everything it does, aiming to enrich the lives of everyone connected to their communities, from the ground up. This dynamic ethos is reflected in the company’s robust culture that rewards dedication, inspires innovation, and encourages professional development.

The Porter role at Kairoi Residential is a crucial position focused on maintaining the community's cleanliness and aesthetic appeal to ensure that the environment remains inviting for both current and prospective residents. As a Champion of Community Appearance, the Porter is responsible for overseeing the cleanliness and upkeep of various community areas including grounds, tour pathways, breezeways, stairwells, parking lots, amenity spaces, and dumpster sites. This role plays an integral part in enhancing the overall resident experience by ensuring these areas are free from debris and visually pleasing.

Beyond cleaning duties, the Porter assists with the make-ready process for apartment homes, which involves trash removal, painting, and cleaning to prepare units for new residents. Additionally, the Porter supports routine community inspections and is involved in groundskeeping, landscaping, exterior painting, minor repairs, irrigation maintenance, and pool upkeep tasks as assigned by the Service Manager. This variety in day-to-day tasks not only keeps the community looking its best but also provides varied experience and growth opportunities for the employee.

Kairoi values its employees by offering competitive compensation packages that reflect their experience and the specific community they serve. The company also extends incentive pay tied to performance, incentivizing employees to excel in their roles. Employees benefit from comprehensive health and wellness plans including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and disability coverage available at affordable rates. Retirement planning is supported through a 401k program with company matching, helping employees secure their financial future.

Paid leave benefits at Kairoi are exceptional, encompassing PTO, paid holidays, floating holidays, a birthday day off, and a milestone sabbatical program, illustrating the company’s commitment to work-life balance. Besides financial and leave benefits, Kairoi provides a private discount network enabling employees to access savings on travel, dining, gifts, and experiences. Continuous learning is also encouraged, with mandatory training sessions designed to promote professional growth and skill development within the organization.

Working as a Porter at Kairoi Residential means joining a supportive and inclusive environment where equal opportunity employment is a foundational principle. The company embraces diversity and encourages applications from all backgrounds. Employment is contingent upon a successful background check, drug screening, and having a valid driver’s license with a clean record for the past year. The role is perfect for individuals with a commitment to community upkeep and customer service, who are eager to learn and grow within a reputable, forward-thinking company.
