As a Porter at RWB Thrift, you are essential to the production support team, acting as the controller of the backroom and ensuring the smooth flow of supplies and goods throughout the store's production areas. Your role involves anticipating the needs of staff, maintaining cleanliness, and organizing the work environment to prioritize safety and efficiency. In this role, you are responsible for monitoring walkways to promptly remove hazards and ensure a safe working environment. The job is multifaceted, requiring you to handle the loading and unloading of delivery trucks, operate trash compactors, and manage backroom supplies such as hangers, carts, and racks. Your attention to detail and ability to work quickly enhance the overall production experience, supporting production employees so they can maintain a productive workflow. This position demands physical stamina, the capacity to lift up to 70 pounds occasionally, and the ability to work in a dynamic, noisy, and brightly lit environment.

You will be tasked with tasks including transporting items between departments, organizing inventory, and communicating effectively with your team while following safety protocols. The work environment is fast-paced and requires flexibility, as you may be called upon to switch between various roles.
