The Porter acts as the backbone of the backroom operations, responsible for anticipating and meeting the needs of production support staff to ensure smooth workflow and organization within the production floor.

As a Porter, you will essentially serve as the air-traffic controller of the backroom — a role that demands keen attention to detail, proactive anticipation of supply and equipment needs, and prioritizing cleanliness and safety. Your contribution will directly impact the efficiency of production teams by maintaining orderly stockrooms, transporting items safely between departments, and operating key machinery such as trash compactors. This role requires physical strength and endurance as Porters are frequently tasked with loading and unloading merchandise, handling a variety of donated goods, and maintaining workplace safety by clearing walkways and identifying potential hazards.

Key responsibilities include efficiently loading and unloading trailers, carefully sorting and organizing incoming donations, keeping an updated inventory of supplies such as hangers, carts, racks, and sensors, and swiftly responding to the ever-changing demands of the sales floor and production area.
