The role of Porter at University Health Truman Medical Center is a full-time position with varied shifts, requiring an individual who is dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining cleanliness and organization within the Food Service department. Working 40 hours per week, the Porter will be responsible for maintaining the sanitation standards essential to both the kitchen and food service areas. Job Duties
- Clean and sanitize all areas of the kitchen and food service spaces
- wash dishes, pots, pans, and utensils keeping them sparkling and ready for use
- handle general cleaning of equipment and surfaces according to food safety standards
- assist with food storage, organizing supplies, and occasionally helping with service tasks
- follow all health and safety regulations ensuring safety for all
- support your team and respond quickly to requests promoting teamwork
