Job Requirements

must have at least 1 year experience working as a porter within a casino environment preferred
must be able to communicate effectively in english language both speaking and reading
must have experience working with a variety of chemicals and standard cleaning equipment
must be able to work at a steady pace to ensure that department schedule is kept
must be able to follow instructions and safety procedures
must be able to work well with others and with minimum supervision
must have good customer service skills and employee relations skills
must be able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and 75 lbs occasionally
must have ability to handle heavy-duty equipment
must be able to push and pull heavy duty equipment
must be able to perform prolonged walking standing bending squatting reaching and kneeling without restriction
must be able to withstand working with chemicals and noise of equipment

Job Qualifications

at least 1 year experience working as a porter within a casino environment preferred

Job Duties

gets ready for shift including preparing garbage bags gloves chemicals and supplies
proceeds to assigned section and follows daily assignment sheet
cleans sanitizes and maintains public restrooms per assignment sheet
sweeps mops vacuums floors and empties trash cans and ashtrays throughout casino property
wipe down all slot machines and chairs from dust fingerprints and spills
ensure that all areas of casino are free of any spills mishaps and eating or drinking utensils including areas such as sports lounge guest service center
cleans and maintains outside areas of casino including stairways parking lot hallways etc
cleans glass doors mirrors walls equipment and furniture inside and outside of building
cleans administrative areas and empties trash
follows instructions and standards provided by supervisor
