The role being offered is that of a Service Lane Attendant, a vital position within the dealership's service department. This is a full-time role primarily responsible for managing the flow of vehicles in various service areas including service stalls, service lanes, service drives, and parking lots dedicated to serviced vehicles. A successful candidate will work closely with service advisors to facilitate the efficient handling of vehicles, ensuring that customers’ cars are ready for delivery and meet the quality and presentation standards of the dealership.
The Service Lane Attendant plays a key role in enhancing the customer experience by maintaining vehicle appearance standards—such as ensuring steering wheel covers and floor mats are properly installed before the service and removed before vehicle return—and keeping the service environment clean and safe. Additionally, the attendant assists in customer transportation needs, demonstrating excellent communication skills, alertness to traffic and safety protocols, and a readiness to adhere strictly to company policies. This position also demands physical stamina and the ability to operate both manual and automatic transmission vehicles.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- valid driver's license with a good driving record
- able to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles
- able to lift 50 pounds alone and more than 50 pounds with assistance
- energetic and able to walk at a fast pace and stand for 8 hours a day
- able to tolerate harsh weather conditions including excessive heat and excessive cold
- willing and able to spend most of the day outdoors

Job Duties
- Manage vehicle flow in service stalls service lane service drive and service parking lot
- work with service advisors to track key tasks drive vehicles from service stalls follow dealership display standards field customer requests and other duties
- ensure each vehicle has a steering wheel cover and floor mat installed
- ensure customer vehicles are ready for return after service department repairs
- remove the steering wheel cover and floor mats before service delivery
- clean driveway sidewalks and other areas as directed by management
- provide transportation for customers
- be alert of traffic flow to sales and service lots
- follow all company safety policies and procedures and immediately report all accidents to a manager
- demonstrate behaviors consistent with the company's values in all interactions with customers co-workers and vendors
