The Porter position at Nyle Maxwell of Killeen is an essential role responsible for the efficient movement, maintenance, and appearance of vehicles on the lot. This full-time position involves driving and parking new and used vehicles as required, consistently adhering to the company driving policy to ensure safety for all employees and customers. The Porter plays a key role in maintaining the dealership's professional appearance by performing basic inspections, cleaning interiors and exteriors, replenishing vehicle fluids, and replacing batteries upon request. Additionally, the Porter helps organize vehicle inventory by placing buyer guides and stock tags, keeping lots neat and presentable, and making sure that cars are positioned in accordance with dealership display standards.
In this role, the Porter must be highly responsible, safety-conscious, and capable of operating company and customer vehicles without distraction, as using handheld devices while driving is strictly prohibited. The position requires a valid driver’s license, an excellent driving record, and the ability to follow clear instructions. Beyond vehicle handling, the Porter contributes to the overall appearance and safety of the dealership by cleaning driveways and sidewalks, removing debris, and assisting management as needed.

Job Duties
- Operate company or customer vehicles at any time and must adhere to the company driving policy
- Maintains new and used vehicle inventory appearance and performance by cleaning interior and exterior of vehicles, replenishing all vehicle fluids as needed, and replacing batteries as requested
- Places buyer guides and stock tags in vehicles
- Keeps new and used vehicle lots neat and orderly, moving cars as directed by the general manager and in accordance with dealership display standards
- Cleans driveway and sidewalks, removing debris as necessary
- Drives vehicles to and from service lane, service stalls, and parking lot as needed
- Makes key tags for vehicles
- Performs other duties as assigned
