Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in a maintenance or janitorial role preferred
- Ability to perform physical tasks involving cleaning and lifting
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends if needed
- Must be reliable with good attendance
- Ability to follow company policies and procedures
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in property maintenance or custodial roles preferred
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness standards
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic knowledge of safety procedures
- Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks efficiently
Job Duties
- Treat residents with courtesy and respect
- Remove trash from office areas, apartment community common areas and perimeter of property on a daily basis
- Clean guest bathrooms, ensuring adequate paper supply
- Maintain community appearance
- Participate on daily tours and inspections with maintenance team
- Maintain cleanliness of amenities by washing interior glass windows, washing tile flooring, vacuuming carpets in lounges and hallways, wiping down interior and exterior railings, removing cobwebs
- Clean barbeque grills daily and check for adequate propane supply
- Dust and vacuum models and focus units
- Clean faucets, toilets, mirrors, replace air fresheners in common areas
- Ensure the 'tour path' is clear of litter and report trip and fall hazards and landscape repairs
- Clean elevator doors weekly, remove graffiti, discard flyers
- Remove all trash from apartments before, during and after unit turn
- Prepare vacant units as needed
- Assist with special projects when assigned
- Protect property assets from inclement weather by securing outdoor items
- Attend and participate in training programs as required
- Maintain consistent attendance as an essential job function
