The Porter role at Trinity Property Consultants is a full-time position that involves maintaining the cleanliness and overall appeal of apartment communities, including buildings, amenities, and surrounding areas. This role is essential in creating a welcoming environment for residents, guests, and fellow team members. The position operates on a Monday through Friday schedule from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with a competitive hourly wage of $18 to $20 depending on experience, plus lease renewal bonuses. The Porter performs routine upkeep tasks such as trash removal, cleaning vacant units, weather preparation and cleanup, and maintaining the organization of supplies. Attention to detail, effective communication, and adherence to safety standards when operating equipment and tools are crucial aspects of the job. Job Requirements
- High school education or equivalent
- Minimum of one year of porter experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Physical stamina including the ability to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear and reach
- Ability to climb occasionally
- Ability to use close, distance, color vision, depth perception and adjust focus
- Availability to work extended or flexible hours, including some nights, weekends and occasional holidays
- Commitment to ongoing professional development
- Regular attendance and participation at company functions and events
- Ability to operate tools and equipment safely and efficiently
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of one year of porter experience preferred
- High school education or equivalent preferred
- Ability to accurately perform basic mathematical functions
- Beginner computer and internet knowledge preferred
- Ability to use on-site resident management software preferred
Job Duties
- Responsible for meticulous upkeep and trash removal of grounds, amenities, building exteriors, leasing office, parking lots, and community common areas
- Assist in the cleaning and preparation of units including trash removal from vacant apartments
- Complete weather preparation and clean up as needed
- Organize, maintain, and utilize provided supplies in a cost-effective manner
- Present an appearance appropriate to the image of the company
- Complete additional tasks or duties assigned by community leadership
