Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous residential or commercial cleaning experience
  • Ability to work full time in Ellicott City, MD
  • Basic proficiency in English reading and communication
  • Ability to use hand and power tools proficiently
  • Capability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Must be friendly, outgoing, and energetic
  • Ability to handle emergencies appropriately
  • Willingness to comply with all organizational policies and procedures

Job Qualifications

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment demonstrating strong organizational and follow up skills along with ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to interact in English with a diverse group of associates, residents, and external agencies
  • Ability to read English sufficiently to understand policies, procedures, safety notices, and business correspondence

Job Duties

  • Consistently demonstrate the HEROES principles of being helpful, engaged, responsive, outstanding, excellent, and successful in all activities and interactions
  • Ensure all areas are kept safe, tidy, and free of trash, debris, and animal waste, including dumpster cleanliness and preparation for trash pick-up
  • Provide excellent customer service contributing to marketing efforts and resident satisfaction through effective, courteous communication with residents, associates, management, and guests
  • Continuously monitor all areas of the community and grounds to ensure proper and safe maintenance and advise management of areas needing attention
  • Maintain landscaping including watering flowers and perform snow removal as needed
  • Participate in apartment turnovers as directed
  • Respond timely, appropriately, and courteously to emergencies
  • Comply with Enterprise Residential's policies, procedures, and external regulatory requirements
  • Participate in all required in-service training sessions
  • Support other communities as assigned by management
  • Perform other duties as assigned
