The position of Customer Service Attendant at TA plays a crucial role within the company’s mission to ensure every traveler is returned to the road better than they came. The Customer Service Attendant is responsible for upholding TA’s high standards by ensuring that all areas of the facility are maintained in a hygienic and orderly condition. This includes handling thorough cleaning duties in various parts of the travel center while adhering strictly to safety and security protocols to protect both staff and customers. This role is more than just janitorial work; it entails being proactive in spotting and addressing potential hazards and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for thousands of customers daily. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous cleaning or janitorial experience preferred
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs
- Availability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Compliance with safety and security guidelines
- Good vision and ability to use cleaning equipment safely

Job Duties
- Work in a fun, trusting environment focused on great customer service
- Clean all areas of the facility as directed and provide our guests with a clean, sanitary environment
- Know and follow all safety and security guidelines and procedures
- Alert to and report potentially unsafe situations caused by team members and guests
- Take corrective action when necessary
- Wear and use protective equipment properly and safely
- Know quantities and types of cleaning supplies used for each cleaning assignment
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned
