Job Description
Full House Resorts is a well-established company in the hospitality and entertainment industry, managing premier casino and spa resorts that provide exceptional experiences for their guests. Known for their commitment to quality service, Full House Resorts operates several properties that feature not only vibrant gaming floors but also upscale spa and wellness facilities. The company is dedicated to maintaining clean, safe, and welcoming environments that enhance guest satisfaction and employee well-being. Their emphasis on comprehensive benefits and professional growth makes them a sought-after employer in the hospitality sector.
The role available is for a dedicated Casino and Spa Cleaner, a crucial position within the resort's maintenance and housekeeping teams. This hourly position offers compensation starting at $18.00 per hour, with overnight shifts receiving a shift differential, recognizing the demands of different working hours. As a Casino and Spa Cleaner, the candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness across both the casino gaming areas and the spa facilities. The role is integral in ensuring that all guest-facing spaces are immaculate, safe, and inviting, thereby supporting the overall guest experience and operational efficiency of the resort.
This position involves a variety of cleaning responsibilities, including continuous trash removal throughout the casino and spa, operation and maintenance of cleaning equipment, and upkeep of the property’s exterior areas, such as snow and ice removal. Monitoring and maintaining cleanliness in parking lots, including hotel lots, is part of the role, ensuring the outdoor areas reflect the resort’s high standards. Indoors, tasks include sweeping, vacuuming, mopping floors, cleaning and sanitizing restrooms and spa treatment rooms, and maintaining the locker rooms, relaxation areas, pool deck, and fitness centers. The candidate must be diligent in adhering to safety procedures, using appropriate safety equipment, and identifying any unsafe conditions to maintain a secure environment for guests and employees.
Full House Resorts values regular and reliable attendance, punctuality, and positive interactions with both guests and team members. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in janitorial or housekeeping duties, preferably within a spa setting, and familiarity with floor care equipment like buffers and extractors is preferred. The physical demands of this role are significant, requiring extended periods of walking, standing, bending, and lifting up to 75 pounds, demanding a good level of fitness and stamina.
Employees receive a robust benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision coverage for full-time staff, as well as HSA and FSA options. Additional benefits consist of life insurance, disability coverage, 401(k) retirement plan participation with company matching after one year, generous paid time off, free shuttle transportation from nearby areas, complimentary gym memberships, tuition reimbursement, career development opportunities, and employee discounts on hotel and resort services. This comprehensive benefits package underscores Full House Resorts’ commitment to supporting its workforce both professionally and personally, making the Casino and Spa Cleaner role not only vital but rewarding for the right candidate.
