The role also includes responsibilities like maintaining exterior lighting, cleaning pools and spas according to manufacturer specifications, and managing irrigation systems. Safety awareness is a crucial component of the job, requiring the individual to know emergency procedures, including how to engage water and gas shutoff valves and locate sewer cleanouts and fuse panels to minimize property loss or injury.
